Plot, information en trailer from the series

Marty Byrde is a financial advisor and has two teenage children with his wife Wendy. They seem to live a perfectly normal life in Chicago, but there is one exception. Marty’s main client is a drug cartel. In fact, the largest drug cartel in all of Mexico. When the Mexican drug cartel finds out that Marty’s business partner is siphoning off money, his only way out is to move to Ozark. This place in the middle of nowhere is, in his opinion, the place to continue the business and make back drug money to pay off the Mexican drug cartel. However, he finds out that the local drug dealer and a criminal family headed by the 19-year-old niece are trying to take his money. To make matters worse, an FBI agent seems to be on to him. The agent goes out of his way to frame Marty.
