The latest James Bond movie, featuring Daniel Craig’s very last appearance as 007, can now be viewed online. We sat down this weekend to watch one of 2021’s most phenomenal action films: No Time to Die (2021). Read on in the article for our review.
Review: ‘No Time to Die’ (2021)
Of course it’s to be expected from James Bond movies, but what immediately stands out about No Time to Die is that it’s another real Hollywood movie. Ironclad actors, fantastic action sequences and emotional roller coasters pass in review. Somehow, we always manage to appreciate the succession of film clichés in Bond movies.
We’d advise you to rent the film in High Definition and watch it on a good television, as it is definitely worth it. It makes you want to google where all the scenes of No Time to Die were shot, and book a last-minute ticket to their locations. If you’re looking for explosions, special effects and high speed chases through dazzling landscapes – you’re in luck, as all of these boxes are ticked. An extra scoop of action on top would have been nice, but that is more than made up for by an extremely intriguing story line.
Daniel Craig shines as we know him in his role as 007, but we’re especially impressed by the masterful performance of “bad guy” Rami Malek. Most people will recognize him as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody (coming soon to Netflix). In any case, we hope he lands many more of these huge roles in the coming years. And as for Craig, he’s getting a dignified end to his 15-year James Bond career, but we won’t give too much away about that.
