Netflix launches third and final season of ‘Who Killed Sara?’

On March 24, 2021, the first season of the Mexican crime series Who Killed Sara? appeared on Netflix and less than two months later, on May 19, 2021, the second season already came online. The series managed to reach the first position in the Netflix Top 10 after both releases and now the third and final set of episodes has been launched. Season 3 was launched by Netflix on May 18, 2022.

We only had to wait 2 months for the launch of season 2 after the extremely successful first part of Who Killed Sara? on Netflix. Unfortunately, it was immediately clear that there was a good chance that the third season would not follow just as smoothly.

Meanwhile, almost a year went by when the release date of the sequel season was announced. In the trailer shared by Netflix, it was revealed that Wednesday, May 18, 2022 would be the day that the third season of the Mexican hit series will be seen on the streaming service.

In this final season, where enemies become allies, Alex gets an answer to the question that has been tormenting him for years: what really happened to Sara? Just when we thought it was Marifer who killed Sara by cutting the ropes of the parachute, everything was turned upside down at the end of season 2.

In an unexpected and mysterious scene, Nicandro reveals that Marifer was not the one who committed the crime, but that “it was really us” who did it. But then who did? And why? Finally, all the questions asked throughout the series will be answered in this third and final season – the most surprising and explosive yet! And most importantly… what really happened to Sara?
